Your doctor believes the use of the machine will aid in your healing process.

Look at the digital temperature display; it should read 49˚ F. Please turn the machine off for a few minutes and then turn it back on. This should fix the problem. If this does not fix the problem, please call 918.744.1078 and we will connect you with a Patient Care Technician.

For 24 hour service on VascuTherm units, please call the VascuTherm Customer Care line at 214.502.880.

If you need help during our office hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (CST), you may call the Orthopedic Resources office at 918.744.1078 and we will connect you to a Patient Care Technician. If you have an emergency after our regular office hours, and need immediate assistance on something other than the VascuTherm equipment, you may call our office at 918-744-1078 and there will be an option for you to select after hours service.

Most doctors prescribe use of the VascuTherm unit for ten days.

Please return all machines and tubing to the Orthopedic Resources office at 1638 S. Main Street in Tulsa, OK. The wraps are yours to keep.

We will provide you with doctor-recommended protocols, but a general rule of thumb is: use the DVT prevention machine for the next ten days whenever you are non-ambulatory.

The protocols for cold therapy are physician-specific, and will be discussed with the patient during the time they are in-facility. If you have any questions please call our office at 918.744.1078 and ask for a Patient Care Technician.
